At American Shopper, we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our returns policy below.

1. Returns

You can request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To start a return, email support@americanshopper.co.uk or use our online returns portal.

For online order cancellations, you generally have 14 days to notify us, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods.

2. Product Condition

For change-of-mind returns, products should be returned in new, unused condition and with their original packaging where possible.

You may inspect products as you reasonably would in a shop. If an item has been used or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund where legally permitted.

3. Return Postage

Customers are responsible for return postage cost for change-of-mind returns.

If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will cover return costs where required.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Some items may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where permitted by law, including:

• Personalised products made to your specifications.
• Food and perishable products that deteriorate or expire rapidly.
• Certain sealed hygiene-sensitive products once opened this is including but not limited to cosmetics and other personal care items. 

Pre-ordered products remain subject to applicable statutory cancellation rights.

These restrictions do not affect your legal rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

5. Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged during delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@americanshopper.co.uk and include clear photographs of the damaged product and packaging.

This allows us to document the damage and report it to our delivery partner as soon as possible.

6. Refunds

Refunds will be processed within 5 business days and issued to your original payment method or store credit, if you prefer. 

Where required by law, refunds include the original standard delivery charge. Any lawful deductions will be explained to you.
